1 Scope
This standard defines and classifies high-voltage passive power filters, and specifies the design principles, design basis, design methods, basic contents of application technologies, etc.
This standard is applicable to high-voltage passive power filters (hereinafter referred to as filters) with power frequency of 50 Hz and rated voltage from1,000 V (inclusive) to 110 kV (inclusive).
In addition to this guide, the design and application of filters shall also comply with those specified in the current relevant standards and codes of the nation.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1 Harmonic
3.1.1
point of common coupling
PCC
connection where users access the public supply network
3.1.2
harmonic measurement points
specific points for harmonic measurement of public bus and power lines or user bus and power supply lines and related equipment or devices of the power grid
3.1.3
fundamental component
components with the same frequency as the power frequency of the power grid obtained by carrying out Fourier series decomposition on periodic nonsinusoidal alternating current component
3.1.4
harmonic component
components with the frequency being an integer multiple of the fundamental frequency greater than 1 obtained by carrying out Fourier series decomposition on periodic nonsinusoidal alternating current component
3.1.5
harmonic order

integer ratio of harmonic frequency to fundamental frequency
3.1.6
total harmonic content
square root value of the amount obtained by subtracting the fundamental component from the whole periodic nonsinusoidal alternating current corresponding to the power frequency of the power grid (harmonic voltage content or harmonic current content)
