1 Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging and storage of tar epoxy anti-corrosion coatings.
This standard is applicable to the bi-component coatings made with main film forming matter of epoxy resin and coal tar pitch through adding curing agent, solvent and pigment, including ordinary primer and finish paint as well as high-build primer and finish paint which are mainly applied for the heavy anticorrosive coating of steel structure and concrete surfaces under water and ground.
