Scope
This part of GB/T 27888, together with ISO 15749-2 ~ 15749-5, is applicable to the planning and design of the wastewater discharge system (sanitary water discharge system) in the living area and grain depot area of ships and offshore structures. For drainage of weather decks, cargo holds and swimming pools see ISO 15749-5. GB/T 27888 (all parts) gives the basic rules and minimum requirements for hygiene requirements and protection of the marine environment. This section does not apply to oil and chemically polluted wastewater piping systems that can produce flammable gas/oxygen mixtures.
