Scope

This standard specifies and defines the main performance characteristics of electrical insulation panels and describes standard methods for testing these characteristics. This standard applies to household and similar electrical insulation panels. Similar use refers to non-domestic use, such as use in hotels, coffee houses, tea rooms, bistros, but only when the appliance is used for a period and load consistent with the domestic purpose. This standard does not address safety and performance requirements.
