Scope

This standard specifies the measurement methods for the spectral radiation characteristics and transient spectral radiation characteristics of pulsed optical radiation sources. This standard applies to pulsed light radiation sources such as LEDs, electronic flash units of cameras, signal lights of aircraft and emergency vehicles, photocopiers, colorimeters and pulsed light-emitting displays. This standard does not apply to the measurement of pulsed laser radiation.
