Scope

This standard specifies the principles, reagents, test devices, samples, test conditions and procedures, calculation of test results, test reports, etc. for the determination of chromium on the surface of electrolytic tin plate by colorimetry and electrolysis. This standard is applicable to the determination of chromium content on the surface of electroplated tin plate. Colorimetry as a method of arbitration. As a rapid determination method, the electrolytic method is recommended for the determination of surface chromium content not less than 2mg/m².
