Scope

This standard specifies the specification series, basic parameters and basic dimensions of water inlet valves for large and medium-sized hydraulic turbines. This standard is applicable to butterfly valves with a nominal diameter of 1,000mm to 10,000mm and spherical valves with a nominal diameter of 500mm to 5,000mm for inlet valves of water turbines (including energy storage pumps and pump turbines).
