Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of rubber seals (hereinafter referred to as seals) used in drinking water piping systems. This standard applies to stainless steel pipes, aluminum-plastic pipes, random copolymer polypropylene pipes (PPR pipes), polyethylene pipes (PE pipes), polybutene pipes (PB pipes) and other plastic pipes for drinking water and drinking water. Seals, also suitable for rubber seals for bathing equipment.
