Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of total sulfur, total organic sulfur and form sulfur in gas by gas chromatograph equipped with flame photometric detector (FPD). This standard is for the determination of total sulfur, total organic sulfur and form sulfur in hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, methanol synthesis gas, ammonia synthesis gas, dry natural gas, coke oven gas and other gases. The measuring range of total sulfur (calculated as sulfur) is 0.07mg/m³~2mg/m³, and the measuring range of morphological sulfur (calculated as sulfur in hydrogen sulfide) is 0.07mg/m³~7mg/m³.
