Scope
This standard specifies the method for evaluating the applicability of the online natural gas analysis system. The analysis requirements such as the measurement range and uncertainty of the component concentration of the online analysis system, and the uncertainty of the natural gas physical parameters calculated from the measurement results have been clearly defined. Clear regulations, meanwhile, have fully elucidated the calibration procedure for analytical systems. If the performance evaluation shows that the system is not applicable, it should be improved according to the evaluation test data and then retested, such as: analysis requirements, analysis procedures, equipment selection, calibration gas selection, calibration procedures. This standard applies to on-line natural gas analysis systems that give component concentrations and measurement uncertainties. The method of choice may be gas chromatographic analysis.
