Directives for risk management of consumer products safety

1 Scope

This standard specifies the general principles, procedures and methods for risk management of consumer product safety.

This standard is applicable to all parties involved in consumer product safety to carry out risk management of consumer product safety at all stages of the consumer product life cycle.

3 Terms and definitions

For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions and those given in GB/T 22760-2008 and GB/T 23694-2009 apply.

Note 1: It is revised from Definition 3.3.3 in GB/T 23694-2009.

Note 2: Such elements may include sources or hazards, events, consequences and probability.

Note 3: Hazard identification may also reflect the concerns from stakeholders.
