Scope

This standard specifies the main electrical, mechanical and environmental parameters for system description and performance analysis of stand-alone photovoltaic systems. For obtaining and performing performance analysis, the following relevant parameters are provided in a standard format: - field measurements of long-term and short-term PV system performance; - comparison of field measurements and design values extrapolated to Standard Test Conditions (STC). Relevant documents for special applications and/or special purposes (design, prediction and measurement of performance) may also be released if required.
