1 Subject content and application scope
This standard specifies the performance test methods for wearing leakage coefficient, effective dead space, visual field, assembly airtightness, outlet valve airtightness, air resistance of outlet valve, light transmittance (light transmittance ratio) of spectacle lens and inspiratory resistance of facepiece of filter type respirator.
This standard is applicable to the performance test and evaluation of facepiece of filter type respirator (hereinafter referred to as "facepiece"), and may also be referred to for other related products.

3.1 Test method for wearing leakage coefficient of facepiece (oil mist method)
3.1.1 Principle
When a person is wearing the respirator, the ratio of the concentration c of hazardous substances leaking into the facepiece through the tight-fitting frame, outlet valve and parts assembly positions of facepiece to the external concentration c0 of the same is called the leakage coefficient of facepiece, expressed in percentage (%).
