1 Scope

This standard specifies the coding of various traffic incidents in road traffic information service.

This standard is applicable to information processing and exchange in the field of road traffic information service.

3 Terms and definitions

For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 29108 as well as the following apply.

traffic incident
emergency event happening during the normal traffic order due to the discordance among people, vehicles, facilities and the environment

traffic control
specific rule with the nature of guidance, prohibition, restriction or instruction formulated by the traffic management department of the public security organ according to laws and regulations for vehicles and pedestrians to pass on the road and other traffic related activities
