GB/T 3003—2017 Standard Overview

GB/T 3003—2017 "Refractory Fibers and Products" is an important specification in the field of refractory materials, replacing the original GB/T 3003—2006 version. Classification and grading of refractory fibers

Implementation suggestions and precautions

Case analysis: selection of refractory fiberboard

When using refractory fiberboard in high-temperature kilns, it is necessary to select the appropriate grade according to the maximum use temperature (see Table 2). For example:

  • Grade 100 is suitable for environments ≤1000℃
  • Grade 135 is suitable for environments ≤1350℃
  • Grade 175 is used in extremely high temperature scenarios

In actual applications, it is recommended to:

  1. Select the appropriate grade of refractory fiber products according to the conditions of use
  2. Strictly conduct quality inspection in accordance with standards
  3. Pay attention to moisture and sun protection during storage
  4. Wear protective equipment during construction to avoid dust contact
