Scope

This standard specifies the classification and model designation, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging and storage of magnetoelectric speed sensors. This standard applies to magnetoelectric speed sensors (hereinafter referred to as sensors) that use the principle of electromagnetic induction to convert speed quantities into electrical signal outputs.
