1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, general requirements, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, product qualification certificate and instruction manual, as well as packaging, transportation and storage of external thermal insulation composite systems based on extruded polystyrene.

This standard applies to external thermal insulation composite systems based on extruded polystyrene for civil buildings.

3 Terms and Definitions

For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

3.1

external thermal insulation composite systems based on extruded polystyrene

a kind of non-bearing thermal insulation structure of buildings, taking the base coat composited with glassfiber mesh as thin plaster skin coat, coating material as finish coat, surface-processed extruded polystyrene panel as material of insulating layer, fixed to the outside of substrate wall via bonding assisted by anchoring, and provided with fire-fighting construction measures. It is referred to as external thermal insulation system based on extruded panel
