Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of rare earth elements in inkstone by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). This standard applies to rare earth elements scandium (Sc), yttrium (Y), lanthanum (La), cerium (Ce), praseodymium (Pr), neodymium (Nd), samarium (Sm), europium (Eu), gadolinium Determination of (Gd), terbium (Tb), dysprosium (Dy), holmium (Ho), erbium (Er), thulium (Tm), ytterbium (Yb), lutetium (Lu). The detection limits (mg/kg) of each rare earth element in this standard method are: Sc is 0.05; Y, La, Pr, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu are all 0.005; Ce is 0.1; Nd is 0.025.
