Scope
This document describes the methods for acute toxicity testing of bees in environmental safety assessments of chemical pesticides. This document applies to acute oral toxicity tests, acute contact toxicity tests, and single-exposure toxicity tests of adult worker bees for chemical pesticide registration. This document does not apply to toxicity testing of volatile chemical pesticides.
