《GB/T 3191-1998铝及铝合金挤压棒材》由TC243（全国有色金属标准化技术委员会）归口，TC243SC1（全国有色金属标准化技术委员会轻金属分会）执行，主管部门为中国有色金属工业协会。
本标准规定了铝及铝合金挤压棒材的合同内容、要求、试验方法、检验规则及标志、包装、运输、贮存等。本标准适用于铝及铝合金挤压圆棒、正方形棒和正六边形棒。

1 Scope

This standard specifies the contract contents, requirements, test methods, test rules, labels, packing, transportation and storage of extrusion rods and bars of aluminium and aluminium alloy.
This standard is applicable to the extruded round bars, square rods ("square rod" for short) and regular hexagon rods ("hexagonal rod") of aluminium and aluminium alloy.

3 Contents of Procurement Contract

The procurement contracts of the products listed in this standard shall include the following contents:
a) Product name;
b) Designation;
c) Supply condition;
d) Dimensions;
e) Dimension permissible variation (delivery of goods according to the minimum level if not indicated);
f) Weight;
g) Serial number of this standard;
h) Alternative items (such as requirements on high strength, high-temperature endurance test, stratification and coarse grain ring, all the goods will be supplied according to the common rods if not indicated);
i) Negotiation results on adding the contents not included in this standard.
