Introduction
Core Value and Positioning of the Standard
GB/T 32400-2015 is my country's first cloud computing basic standard that is equivalent to ISO/IEC 17788, and has established a complete cloud computing terminology system framework. The standard defines 48 core terms, covering dimensions such as service models, deployment modes, and key features, providing a unified technical language for the industry.
Analysis of Key Features of Cloud Computing
| Feature Name | Technical Content | Business Value |
|---|---|---|
| On-demand self-service | Automatically configure computing power and minimize manual interaction | Reduce operating costs and improve resource allocation efficiency |
| Resource Pooling | Integration and abstraction of physical/virtual resources | Achieve multi-tenant isolation and improve resource utilization |
| Fast elasticity | Automatically increase and decrease resources | Handle business peaks and avoid resource waste |
Comparison of cloud service capability types
The standard divides cloud capabilities into three categories:
- Infrastructure capability type: Provides basic resources such as computing, storage, and networking (such as IaaS services)
- Platform capability type: Provides programming environment and execution environment (such as PaaS services)
- Application capability type: Directly provides application software (such as SaaS services)
Typical case: A financial enterprise adopts hybrid cloud deployment. The core system uses private cloud to ensure data sovereignty, and the marketing system adopts public cloud to achieve elastic expansion.
Implementation recommendations and compliance points
- Terminology consistency: Strictly use standard definition terms in contract documents
- Service classification: Refer to Appendix A to clarify the correspondence between cloud service categories and capabilities
- Data sovereignty: Pay special attention to the division of ownership of cloud service customer data and derived data
- SLA formulation: Clarify key indicators such as availability and performance based on Clause 6.6
Standard evolution and industry impact
This standard introduced the NIST cloud computing definition system into the national standard for the first time, and subsequently derived a series of standards such as GB/T 32399-2015 "Cloud Computing Reference Architecture". As cloud-native technologies develop, it is recommended to pay attention to:
- Standardization of emerging service categories such as Container as a Service (CaaS)
- Interoperability requirements in multi-cloud management scenarios
- Terminology extension of edge computing and cloud-edge collaboration
