本标准适用于预定供14岁以下儿童使用的电动童车。
本标准不适用于以下预定用途的电动童车:
――特殊用途的电动童车,如沙滩用电动童车、比赛用电动童车;
――公共场所、商业用途的电动童车,如儿童游乐场所使用的电动童车。
Introduction
Interpretation of the core content of the standard
This standard specifies 23 key technical indicators and corresponding test methods for electric children's vehicles. The main technical framework is as follows:

Key technical specifications
1. Mechanical structure safety
Steering mechanism must meet the following requirements:
- Maximum steering angle ≤45° (left and right sides)
- Steering force for products under 36 months ≤30N
- Pass 15N·m torque strength test
2. Electrical safety
Drive battery requirements:
- Quiet current ≤0.5mA
- Power line cross-sectional area ≥0.5mm² (I≤3A)
- Charging and plugging 500 times endurance test
Suggestions for implementation of the standard
Design phase: Refer to the seat height and wheelbase parameter table in Appendix C to ensure vehicle stability. The auxiliary wheel height from the ground for two-wheeled vehicles should be ≤25mm.
Key points of inspection:Type inspection includes 46 items, with a focus on:
- Forced parking function test (5.20)
- 2000 forward and reverse durability (5.21)
- 7-hour continuous driving test (5.22)

Main improvements of this standard compared with the old version:
- New remote control drop test (914mm height 10 times)
- Refine the wire connection process requirements (prohibit cold soldering)
