Introduction

Analysis of the core content of the standard

This part specifies the engineering method for determining the sound power level of power capacitor units through a parallelepiped measuring surface in an approximately free field environment above a reflecting surface. The measurement uncertainty meets the requirements of Level 2 of GB/T 19052. The test frequency range covers the 125Hz-2000Hz octave band or the 100Hz-3150Hz 1/3 octave band.

Typical test scenario

The AC filter capacitor unit of a converter station was tested under the following conditions:

  • Installation method: suspended in a semi-anechoic chamber, with the bottom 0.8m away from the reflecting surface
  • Loading conditions: power frequency current 50Hz/100A + harmonic current (250Hz/5A, 350Hz/3A)
  • Measurement surface: parallelepiped, 9 measuring points arranged

The A-weighted sound power level was measured to be 72.0±2.9dB(k=2), and the directional characteristics showed that the terminal surface had the strongest radiation.
