Scope
connecting ring with an inner diameter of 40 mm that complies with the dimensional requirements for the connection of a towbar to a vehicle as specified in ISO 6489-2. The connecting ring is capable of ensuring the necessary horizontal and vertical rotation angles for connection to the vehicle. This standard applies to connecting rings with a vertical static load not exceeding 2 000 kg and a dynamic horizontal load D value not exceeding 120 kN. Note: For D values, see ISO 6489-2.
