Introduction

Core requirements of oxygen bomb calorimeter safety standard

This standard applies to oxygen bomb calorimeters used to measure the calorific value of solid and liquid combustibles such as coal, coke, and petroleum, and specifies the safety technical requirements under working pressure of 2.8MPa~3.2MPa.

Key data of oxygen bomb pressure test

According to clause 11.4 of the standard, the oxygen bomb needs to pass a 20MPa water pressure test, with the following requirements:

  • Pressure drop within 10 minutes ≤ 0.1MPa
  • Deformation < 0.13mm
  • No reverse leakage from the nozzle

Key technologies for electric shock prevention

Clause 6.3 stipulates the limit of accessible parts:

  • Normal conditions: ≤33V AC/70V DC
  • Fault conditions: ≤55V AC/140V DC
  • Instantaneous discharge: ≤45μC charge

Key points of fire protection design

Clause 9.3 requires the application of flame retardant materials:

  • Shell material FV-1 grade (GB/T 11020)
  • Bottom opening ≤6mm (metal shell)
  • Vertical spacing of baffles ≥25mm

  1. Confirm that the material of the oxygen bomb is 1Cr18Ni9Ti or other pressure-resistant alloy when purchasing
  2. Perform airtightness inspection every month (Appendix A routine test)
