Malleable Cast Iron Pipe Fittings
This standard specifies the terminology and definitions, product classification, and marking of malleable cast iron pipe fittings (hereinafter referred to as "fittings"). It establishes technical requirements for materials, design, appearance, and performance of fittings. This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of fittings used in general piping connections with a maximum working pressure of 2.5 MPa, nominal size DN6-DN150, operating temperature range from -20°C to 300°C, and for use with water, oil, air, gas, steam, and other media.
