Introduction

1. Standard background and technological evolution

The formulation of the standard for adhesive sheets for multilayer printed circuit boards is to regulate their material properties, manufacturing processes and testing methods to ensure product quality consistency. In recent years, with the rapid development of the electronics industry, the demand for multilayer printed circuit boards has continued to increase. As a key material, the performance of adhesive sheets directly affects the quality and reliability of circuit boards.

2. Adhesive sheet models and naming rules

Category Specific requirements Example description
Model structure It consists of the adhesive sheet code, main resin and reinforcement material code, number, and characteristic code in sequence. P - EPGC - 170 HR means epoxy resin, E glass cloth, 170℃ high thermal reliability.
Resin type E: epoxy resin, TF: polytetrafluoroethylene, PI: polyimide, etc. Example: EP means epoxy resin.
Reinforcement material GC: E glass cloth, SC: S glass cloth, AC: aramid cloth, etc. Example: GC means E glass cloth.

3. Material and performance requirements

Reinforcement materials: Must comply with GB/T18373-2013 and other specifications to ensure structural integrity and mechanical properties.

Main resin: Should have good heat resistance, insulation and chemical stability to meet the needs of different application scenarios.

4. Performance indicators and test methods

Case analysis: Performance test of epoxy resin adhesive sheet

Take P-EPGC-150 HF as an example, its main performance indicators include:

  • Glass transition temperature (Tg): ≥150℃.
  • Thermal decomposition temperature (Td): ≥200℃.
  • Flame retardancy: Meets UL94 V-0 requirements.

5. Implementation recommendations

To ensure the quality and performance of the adhesive sheet, the following measures are recommended:

  1. Strictly control the purchase of raw materials to ensure that the resin and reinforcement materials meet the standard requirements.
  2. Establish a complete testing system, equip with advanced testing equipment, and conduct inspections in accordance with GB/T33016-2016.
  3. Optimize the production process, especially in key links such as resin impregnation and lamination curing, to ensure the stability of process parameters.
