Introduction

1. Background and significance of standard formulation

GB/T 33113-2016 "Specification for the compilation of water resources management information object codes" is an important standard formulated to unify and standardize the coding methods of water resources management information and improve the level of water resources information management. This standard is based on river basins, administrative regions and technical requirements, combined with the actual needs of water resources management, and clarifies the coding rules for the entire process from data collection to application.

Water resources zoning coding rules:

  • A hierarchical coding structure is adopted, and the code format is ABBFFSY.
  • Where A represents the first-level water resources zoning, BB is the second-level zoning number, and FF is the third-level zoning number.
  • S and Y represent the sequential numbers of the fourth-level and fifth-level zoning respectively. If there are more than 9, English letters are used in a progressive manner.

Groundwater functional zone coding rules:

  • The code format is ABBPPRRC-1CT SNN.
  • ABB represents the first three digits of the water resource division, and PPRRCC represents the administrative division code.
  • T and S represent the categories of the primary and secondary groundwater functional areas, respectively.

Take the water resource division coding of a certain region as an example:

Code: A12B34C, where A represents the primary water resource division; 12 is the secondary division number; B34 is the third-level division code; and C is the fourth-level division identifier.
