1. Background of Standard Formulation and Analysis of Technology Evolution
Powered pontoon bridge is an important water transportation equipment, widely used in emergency rescue, military deployment and engineering construction. The formulation of GB/T33197-2016 fills the standardization gap in the field of domestic powered pontoon bridges and standardizes its design, manufacturing and inspection requirements.

Actual application case: pontoon bridge erection performance test
According to the standard requirements, the carrying capacity of the pontoon bridge should not be lower than JT GB 0 1-2 0 0 3 Highway-II level, and the flow rate should not be less than 2.5m/s. In the actual test, a certain type of powered pontoon bridge passed the 30-minute continuous erection test under full load and met all performance indicators.
3. Implementation suggestions and precautions
- Material selection:Preferably use alloy structural steel with a yield strength σs not less than 750MPa to ensure the reliability of the connection joints.
- Test method:Strictly perform speed, tightness and interchangeability tests in accordance with standard requirements to avoid test failures due to improper operation.
- Maintenance and storage:When the powered pontoon bridge is stored for a long time, it is recommended to remove the outboard motor and store it separately, and perform regular maintenance and inspection.
