This standard is mainly used to determine the content of mobile lead and arsenic in household paper to ensure that product safety complies with national standards.

2. Background of standard formulation

As consumers pay more attention to the safety of tissue paper, countries have increasingly stringent restrictions on heavy metal content. This standard aims to provide a scientific and reliable testing method to ensure the safety of tissue paper.

3. Determination principle and steps

  • Sample pretreatment:Cut the sample into pieces and soak it in 4% acetic acid solution, extract it for 24 hours, filter it and set it aside.
  • Determination of lead:Use graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrophotometer method, and calculate the content through standard curve.
  • Determination of arsenic:Use hydride generation-atomic fluorescence spectrophotometer method, and also use standard curve to determine the content.

4. Key equipment and reagents

The main instruments include graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometer and atomic fluorescence spectrophotometer. Key reagents include acetic acid solution, nitric acid, potassium borohydride, etc.

5. Implementation suggestions

Implementation precautions:

  • Strictly control the purity and concentration of reagents to avoid introducing interference.
  • Instrument calibration should be performed regularly to ensure detection accuracy.
  • Operators should undergo professional training and be familiar with standard procedures.
