Introduction

National Standard of the People's Republic of China GB/T 33687—2017

Interpretation of the General Rules for the Inspection of Coal Grinding Stone

Background and Significance of the Standard Formulation

GB/T 33687—2017 "General Rules for the Inspection of Coal Grinding Stone" is an important basic standard for my country's coal industry, which mainly regulates the inspection methods, procedures and technical requirements of coal grinding stone. This standard was issued in 2017, managed by the National Coal Standardization Technical Committee and proposed by the China Coal Industry Association.

With the rapid development of my country's coal industry, coal grinding stone, as a by-product in the coal production process, is becoming increasingly important in comprehensive utilization and environmental protection. In order to unify and standardize the technical requirements for the inspection of coal grinding stone and ensure the accuracy and reliability of the test results, this standard came into being.

Comparative analysis of standard frameworks

Dimensions GB/T 33687—2017 International Standard ISO Reference Industry Difference Analysis
Scope of application General inspection principles, sample processing, and determination methods for coal mill stone. Similar testing methods in ISO international standards are applicable to a variety of ore types. Specialized specifications for coal mill stone characteristics are more industry-specific.
Main test items Including key indicators such as particle size, chemical composition, and moisture. Comprehensive testing of physical and chemical properties. Domestic standards pay more attention to the index system unique to coal mill stone.
Method requirements Specify the applicability, precision and measurement uncertainty of the test method. Emphasis on universality and international consistency. Optimized in combination with the actual situation of domestic laboratories.

Interpretation of main technical specifications

Sample processing and preparation

According to the standard requirements, when coal mill stone samples are received in the laboratory, information such as quantity, particle size, appearance and packaging status must be recorded. Sample preparation needs to be completed through steps such as crushing, sieving and shrinking to ensure that the sample particle size is less than 0.2mm. This helps to improve the accuracy and consistency of the test results.

Determination method and precision requirements

The standard clearly stipulates that a blank test is required when measuring samples, and requires that the repeatability limit within the same laboratory and the critical difference of reproducibility between different laboratories must meet the requirements of GB/T 6379.2. For the processing of the measurement results, if the difference between the two measurement values does not exceed the repeatability limit $r$, the arithmetic mean is taken as the measurement result; otherwise, multiple measurements are required until the conditions are met.

Actual application case

For example, in a coal enterprise laboratory, when testing the chemical composition of coal grinding stone, the technicians conducted two parallel measurements in strict accordance with the standard requirements. Because the difference in the results exceeded $r$, they conducted a third and fourth measurement, and finally took the arithmetic mean of the four measurement values as the final result to ensure the reliability of the data.

Implementation Suggestions

  • Strengthen staff training:Laboratory technicians should receive regular training and be familiar with the specific requirements and operating specifications of the standards.
  • Improve equipment calibration:All instruments and equipment used for testing must be within the calibration validity period and be regularly inspected and maintained.
  • Establish a quality control system:Implement quality control throughout the entire process from sample receipt, preparation to measurement to ensure that the data is authentic and reliable.
