Introduction

1. Background and significance of standard formulation

GB/T 33788-2017 "Determination of color and intensity of reactive dyes - low-salt dyeing method" is a standard formulated for the dyeing performance test method of reactive dyes under low-salt conditions. With the improvement of environmental protection requirements, traditional high-salt dyeing processes are gradually replaced by low-salt or salt-free processes. This standard fills the gap in the domestic determination method of color and intensity of reactive dyes under low-salt dyeing conditions, and provides a scientific basis for dye production and application.

2. Standard Framework and Technical Points

Standard Chapters Content Overview Key Parameters
Scope Specifies the applicable scope of the low-salt dyeing method for determining the color and intensity of reactive dyes. Applicable to all reactive dyes, including cotton knitted fabrics and cotton yarns.
Normative References Related standards such as GB/T 2374, GB/T 2387, and GB/T 6688 are cited. - GB/T 2374: General conditions for dyeing determination- GB/T 2387: Method for determination of color light and intensity of reactive dyes
Reagents and instruments Specifies the reagents and instruments required for the test. - Anhydrous sodium sulfate: 30~35 g/L - Dyeing auxiliary: 5~8 g/L or anhydrous sodium carbonate: 15~20 g/L

3. Implementation suggestions and precautions

Case analysis: practical application of low-salt dyeing method

In actual production, the use of low-salt dyeing method can significantly reduce water consumption and wastewater treatment costs. For example, when the dyeing depth is 2% (owf), a bath ratio of 1:20 is used, and the preparation of the dye solution needs to be strictly carried out in accordance with the provisions of Table 1. By controlling the addition amount of anhydrous sodium sulfate and sodium carbonate, the dyeing uniformity and color light stability can be effectively improved.

4. Technological evolution and future prospects

With the increasingly stringent environmental regulations and technological advancement, low-salt or even salt-free dyeing processes will become the main direction of future development. GB/T 33788-2017 provides important technical support for research and application in this field. In the future, it may further optimize the dyeing auxiliary system and improve the utilization rate of dyes.
