Scope

This part of GB/T 33905 specifies the architecture of smart sensors. General methods and procedures for testing the functions and performance characteristics of smart sensors. This section applies to smart sensors. This section also applies to other types of sensors (provided that their differences are considered in advance). For some smart sensors composed of micro-electromechanical system components (such as chemical analyzers, flow meters, etc.) and smart sensors expected to be used in special environments (such as explosive gas environments?), other relevant national standards should also be referred to.
