《GB/T 34202-2017球墨铸铁管、管件及附件 环氧涂层(重防腐)》由TC183(全国钢标准化技术委员会)归口,TC183SC9(全国钢标准化技术委员会铸铁管分会)执行,主管部门为中国钢铁工业协会。
Introduction
GB/T 34202—2017 Standard Overview
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for factory-coated epoxy heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings on ductile iron pipes, fittings and accessories. It is applicable to ductile iron pipes and their accessories for conveying water at a temperature not exceeding 60°C.
Classification and recommended specifications of epoxy coatings
| Coating area | Coating type | Applicable pipe diameter (DN) |
|---|---|---|
| Inner coating | Fusion-bonded epoxy powder inner coating | 80~300 |
| Solvent-free liquid epoxy inner coating | 80~1000 | |
| Epoxy ceramic inner coating | ≥1100 |
Technical requirements and key indicators
Substrate surface treatment: Ductile iron pipes and fittings must be sandblasted or shot blasted, with the surface rust removal level reaching Sa2.5 and the roughness Rz≥50μm.
Coating thickness requirements: The minimum average thickness of the inner and outer coatings is ≥400μm and ≥350μm respectively (see Table 4 and Table 5 for specific values). The local minimum thickness of the designated area is 150μm.
Adhesion and impact strength: The epoxy coating must meet the GB/T5210 standard, with the inner coating adhesion ≥8MPa and the outer coating adhesion ≥6MPa. Impact resistance requires no leaks, and the test energy is 3J (hammer diameter 15.9mm) or 5J (hammer diameter 25mm).
Test methods and quality control
- Surface treatment inspection:Rust removal level and dust quantity assessment shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T8923.1 and GB/T18570.3.
- Coating thickness measurement:Use non-destructive testing instruments with an accuracy of ±1% to ensure compliance with the requirements of Table 4 and Table 5.
- Non-porous test:Use an electric spark leak detector with a detection voltage of 5V/μm (calculated based on the minimum average thickness).
- Indentation resistance test:Under 70°C, apply a pressure of 10MPa, and the indentation depth after 24h and 48h shall not exceed 30% of the initial thickness.
Comparison of standard frameworks and implementation suggestions
International comparative analysis
GB/T 34202-2017 is aligned with ISO 21809-2:2007 in terms of coating technical requirements and test methods, and is optimized in combination with domestic actual conditions.
Implementation suggestions
- Selection suggestions:Choose the appropriate coating type (fused epoxy powder, solvent-free liquid epoxy or epoxy ceramic inner coating) according to the conveying medium and corrosive environment.
- Construction precautions:The substrate needs to be transported in time after treatment to avoid secondary contamination; before coating construction, ensure that the substrate temperature is more than 3°C above the dew point and the relative humidity is less than 85%.
- Quality control:Focus on monitoring coating thickness, adhesion and non-porous indexes, and conduct type tests (such as chemical corrosion resistance and wear resistance tests) when necessary.
