Introduction

1. Standard Overview

GB/T 34255-2017 "Polybutylene Succinate-Adipate (PBSA) Resin" standard specifies the appearance, physical and chemical properties and test methods of PBSA resin, and is applicable to PBSA resin synthesized with 1,4-succinic acid, 1,6-hexanedioic acid and 1,4-butanediol as the main raw materials. This standard was proposed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Bio-based Materials and Degradable Products, and aims to promote the application of bio-based materials in the field of plastics.

3. Interpretation of Technical Requirements and Test Methods

Appearance Inspection:By visual inspection, the product should be uniform milky white or light yellow particles without obvious impurities or color difference.

Physical and chemical index test:Density shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T1033.1-2008, and melting point shall be measured in accordance with GB/T19466.3-2004. The Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) used in the test shall meet the standard requirements.

Biodegradability:Biodegradation tests under composting conditions shall be carried out in accordance with the GB/T19277 series of standards to ensure that the product is degradable in the natural environment and reduce white pollution.

  1. Production link:Strictly control the raw material ratio and production process parameters in accordance with the standard requirements to ensure stable product quality.
  2. Testing and certification:Establish a complete quality testing system and regularly send samples to the National Plastic Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for testing.
  3. Environmental protection promotion: Actively publicize the biodegradable characteristics of PBSA resin and promote its application in packaging, agricultural film and other fields.
