本标准适用于与外线相联接的含有固体化器件的电子设备雷击模拟试验。不适用于雷电直击设备及雷电引起电磁干扰的检验。本标准在于确定与本试验方法有关的名词术语；规定试验波形、冲击波发生器电路、试验程序和试验记录等。试验的目的在于检验有关电子设备适应雷击的能力。在制订电子设备雷击试验方法的专业标准时，必须符合本文件条款的要求。
Scope
This standard is applicable to the lightning strike simulation test of electronic equipment containing solidified components connected to external lines. It is not applicable to the inspection of equipment directly struck by lightning and electromagnetic interference caused by lightning.
