1. Background and significance of standard revision
GB/T3504-2015 "Europium Oxide" standard is an important specification for the rare earth industry, replacing the original GB/T3504-2006 version.
- The text description of the scope has been modified
- Character grades have been added (see Chapter 3)
- The original grade 071035 has been deleted
- The assessment indicators for impurity content have been adjusted

2. Interpretation of the main contents of the standard
2.1 Product classification and brand representation
The standard stipulates that europium oxide is divided into two brands, Eu2O3-5N and Eu2O3-4N according to chemical composition. The specific brand representation method should follow GB/T17803.

3. Implementation suggestions and precautions
3.1 Procurement

3.2 Inspection Process
- Chemical composition testing is based on GB/T14635 and GB/T18115.6
- Particle size distribution testing is based on GB/T20170.1
- Numerical rounding is based on GB/T8170
3.3 Quality Management
It is recommended to establish an internal quality traceability system and regularly review key indicators to ensure stable product quality.
