Scope

This standard specifies the terminology and definition requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation and storage of stable fertilizers. This standard applies to ammonia-containing (containing amide ammonia/ammonium gas) stable fertilizers with the addition of urease inhibitors and/or nitrification inhibitors (fertilizers with urease inhibitors must contain urea). This standard does not apply to fertilizers produced by changing the structure of fertilizers or coating fertilizer particles, as well as fertilizers whose ammonia source is only nitrate.
