Scope

This standard specifies the basic parameter requirements, marking and packaging of astronomical telescopes. This standard applies to astronomical telescopes for observation under natural light, refracting astronomical telescopes with objective lens apertures of 150 mm or less, and reflecting astronomical telescopes with objective lens apertures of 250 mm or less.
