Introduction
Technical background and significance of the standard
This standard is compiled based on the research and development experience of the Jiaolong manned submersible, filling the gap in the field of maneuverability test methods for manned submersibles at home and abroad. The standard systematically regulates 11 key test items for the first time, providing a scientific basis for submersible design verification and performance optimization.
Analysis of core test items
| Test type | Test parameters | Accuracy requirements | Typical equipment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Unpowered dive load dump response | 9 items including over-depth, oscillation time, etc. | Depth gauge error ≤0.1%FS | Doppler speedometer |
| Automatic depth setting function | Speed, depth, thrust distribution | Depth setting deviation ≤0.2m | Depth gauge |
| Slewing test | 7 items including tactical diameter and heel angle | Heading angle error ≤0.5° | Motion sensor |
Key test technical points
1. Test instrument configuration
The standard requires the configuration of 5 types of equipment including Doppler velocimeter and depth gauge. All instruments must meet the following requirements:
- Qualified metrological verification and within the validity period
- The measuring range covers the maximum working depth of the submersible
- The installation position should avoid vibration interference
2. Sea state control requirements
Take the Jiaolong test as an example:
- Water depth
- Current speed <0.1 knot (still water conditions)
- Heel angle ≤1°
Data processing specifications
The standard adopts the dimensionless processing method, and the key formulas include:
Braking slip calculation: $$ R_H' = R_H/L $$
Speed correction formula: $$ v_a = (v_1 + 2v_2 + v_3)/4 $$
Implementation suggestions
- Complete the calibration of temperature, salinity and depth sensors before the test
- Prioritize unpowered tests to reduce risks
- Parameter sensitivity analysis is required for automatic control tests
