GB/T 36218—2018 is a management requirement for major energy-consuming equipment in shipbuilding enterprises, aiming to standardize the whole process management of equipment from selection to use, improve energy utilization efficiency, and comply with national energy conservation and consumption reduction policies.

3. Selection and Procurement Management of Major Energy-consuming Equipment

According to the requirements of the standard, enterprises should give priority to energy-saving and high-efficiency equipment during the selection and procurement process, and avoid using energy-consuming products that have been eliminated by the state. For example, when selecting an air compressor, it must comply with the energy efficiency level of Class II or above as specified in GB19153-2009.

4. Use and management of energy-consuming equipment

Air compressor unit management requirements

The air compressor station should be located near the load center to shorten the transmission distance.
The air supply system should not have leakage.
Regularly check the equipment operation records to ensure that the exhaust temperature and cooling water temperature difference meet the standard requirements.

Enterprises need to establish a multi-level energy-saving training system covering laws and regulations, technical knowledge and operating specifications. At the same time, employees' energy-saving awareness should be enhanced by organizing energy-saving competitions and technical exchanges.
