GB/T 36294—2018 Standard Overview

The National Standard of the People's Republic of China GB/T 36294—2018 "Guidelines for the Classification of Archives of Pumped Storage Power Generation Enterprises" is an important standard specifically for the archives management of pumped storage power generation enterprises. This standard specifies in detail the classification principles and methods of 10 categories of archives, including party and mass work, administrative management, business management, production and technology management, financial auditing, personnel and labor, power production, scientific and technological research, basic construction, equipment and instruments, to ensure the scientific and standardized management of archives.

Standard Scope and Applicability

This standard applies to all pumped storage power generation enterprises, covering the archives management work of the entire life cycle from project approval to completion and commissioning. Its main contents include:

  • Basic categories such as party and mass work, administrative management, and business management
  • Professional categories such as power production, scientific and technological research, and basic construction
  • Detailed provisions for equipment and instruments and their installation and commissioning documents
  • Specific compilation rules for file number structure and project code

Category setting principles and methods

  • 8-9 category files: file number = project code - category number - file number

Among them, the project code is composed of the construction period number and the unit number. For specific examples, please refer to Appendix B.
