Analysis of key technical differences
The 2021 version mainly introduces the GB/T30691 environmental control standard. Before the test, it needs to be adjusted at 23℃±2℃, 50%±5%RH for ≥2h. The conductive liquid formula clearly requires the presence of polyethylene glycol 800mg/g + potassium chloride 1mg/g to ensure that the contact resistance is ≤10⁴Ω.
Implementation points
Typical application case: Flame-retardant conveyor belts for coal mines need to meet the MT668 standard. It is recommended to control the surface resistance below 1×10⁷Ω. Attention should be paid during the test:
- Polishing is required before using brass electrodes
- The error of the conductive liquid coating area should be <5%
- Reading stability time ≥60s
Standard evolution background
This standard has been revised three times in 1983, 2006 and 2021. The 2021 version mainly responds to the update of ISO284:2012, and adjusts the scope of application according to my country's GB/T39825 light belt standard. Added Appendix A to clarify the impact of temperature and humidity on test results.
