Introduction

1. Background and significance of standard formulation

GB/T 37106-2018 "Pallet Design Guidelines for Pallet Unitized Logistics System" is a national standard of the People's Republic of China, which aims to standardize the design and production of pallets in pallet unitized logistics systems. With the rapid development of modern logistics industry, pallets, as the core equipment in logistics systems, have become a key factor in improving logistics efficiency and reducing transportation costs.

2. Pallet classification

According to GB/T 37106-2018, pallets are divided into four categories according to their form:

  • Flat pallet
  • Box pallet
  • Column pallet
  • Sliding plate pallet

4. Implementation Suggestions

4.1 Choose the right type of pallet

Choose the type of pallet based on logistics needs and cargo characteristics. For example, box pallets are suitable for cargo that needs to be stacked and protected, while slide pallets are suitable for mechanized loading and unloading.

4.2 Ensure compliance with standard requirements

When designing and producing pallets, the size, load and performance requirements in GB/T 37106-2018 must be met. In particular, the bending test of flat pallets and the stacking test of column pallets are key.

4.3 Optimizing logistics efficiency

By standardizing pallet sizes (such as 1200×1000 mm) and unifying rated loads (1000 kg), the compatibility and operational efficiency of the logistics system can be improved. At the same time, it is recommended to equip pallets with RFID tags and barcode symbols to achieve intelligent management.
