Analysis of the core test system of the standard

This standard systematically regulates the performance evaluation system of structural sealants in building assembly, including 14 test methods in three categories: mechanical properties, environmental durability, and compatibility. Among them, the tensile adhesion test requires recording the data of 6 characteristic points in the strain range of 5%-25%, reflecting the fine control of the nonlinear deformation characteristics of the material.

Key points of environmental durability test

Water-UV irradiation testRequirements:

After the test, the secant stiffness Kc,12.5 needs to be calculated and compared with the initial value to evaluate the performance degradation.

  1. The specimen maintenance cycle must be strictly guaranteed for 28 days, and the isolation pads must be removed early
  2. Multi-component adhesive mixing requires vacuum stirring (≥0.09MPa)
  3. Substrate cleaning should adopt a two-pass solvent wiping method
  4. Compatibility testing requires matching light-colored reference adhesive

Technology Evolution Analysis

This standard introduces the concept of secant stiffness for the first time (Appendix A), and solves the problem of origin drift in traditional tangent stiffness testing through linear regression processing of stress-strain curves. The minimum creep coefficient of the sustained shear creep test is set at 10, which is 25% higher than that of European and American standards.
