Introduction
Interpretation of the National Standard of the People's Republic of China GB/T 37804—2019
I. Background and Significance of Standard Formulation
Winter wheat is one of the main grain crops in my country, and its growth monitoring is of great significance to ensuring food security. The formulation of GB/T 37804—2019 "Specifications for Monitoring the Growth of Winter Wheat Seedlings" aims to comprehensively and accurately monitor and analyze the growth and development of winter wheat through scientific methods and technical means, and provide a basis for agricultural production and management decisions.II. Comparison of standard frameworks
| Dimensions | Monitoring content | Method requirements | Implementation points |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monitoring point selection | Representative plot selection | Diagonal sampling method, fixedly mark 3 monitoring points | More than 20 meters away from obstacles |
| Growth environment monitoring | Soil conditions | Layered detection of N, P, and K content | Used in combination with Soil nutrient analyzer |
| Monitoring during the growth period | Identification of key growth periods | Based on morphological characteristics and physiological indicators | Reference to Field microclimate observation instrument |
III. Explanation of professional terms and practical applications
Case analysis: wheat frost damage monitoring
In winter or early spring, when the temperature drops below 0℃, winter wheat may suffer frost damage. According to the standard, frost damage is divided into four levels:
- Level 1: Yellowing of leaf tips
- Level 2: Half of the leaves are frozen to death
- Level 3: All leaves are frozen to death
- Level 4: Part of the main stem is frozen to death
During monitoring, the time, level and affected area of frost damage should be recorded to provide a basis for subsequent remedial measures.
IV. Implementation Suggestions
- Technical Equipment Preparation: Equipped with Soil Nutrient Analyzer and Field Microclimate Observer
- Staff Training: Provide standardized operation training for monitoring personnel to ensure accurate data collection
- Long-term Data Analysis: Establish a regional wheat growth database to analyze the impact of climate change on wheat seedlings
- Disaster Prevention Measures: Develop targeted pest and disease control and disaster prevention and mitigation plans based on monitoring results
