Electric vehicles product description - Emergency rescue

1 Scope

This standard specifies the contents and preparation requirements of the electric vehicles product description.

This standard is applicable to the preparation of the emergency rescue contents in the electric vehicles product description.

2 Normative references

The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document (including any amendments) applies.

3 Preparation requirements

3.1 The emergency rescue part of the electric vehicles product description shall be separately bound in a volume, and the paper version shall be accompanied to the vehicle. Refer to Annex A or B for contents and format.

3.2 The emergency rescue part of the electric vehicles product description shall include the product information, safety sign information, emergency rescue disposal procedure information and other information deemed necessary by the vehicle manufacturer, and shall be prepared in the above order.

3.3 The terms used in the emergency rescue part of the electric vehicles product description shall be in accordance with the requirements of GB/T 19596 and GB/T 24548.

3.4 The wording and figures used in the emergency rescue part of the electric vehicles product description shall be in accordance with the requirements of GB/T 5296.1.

3.5 The examples shown in the emergency rescue part of the electric vehicles product description shall be in accordance with the requirements of GB/T 2893.1.

4 Content requirements

4.1 Product information

4.1.1 Basic information of vehicles

The basic information of vehicles shall include such information as trademark or emblem mark, vehicle picture, vehicle model, overall dimension, rated passenger volume and total mass. In terms of vehicle pictures, at least pictures of vehicle head and rear both at 45° shall be provided.

4.1.2 Vehicle manufacturer information

The vehicle manufacturer information shall include the name, emergency rescue telephone, address and website of the vehicle manufacturer, and foreign vehicle manufacturers shall provide relevant information of their branches in China.

4.1.3 Appearance identification information

The appearance identification sign of an electric vehicle and its position on the vehicle shall be given graphically. When there is more than one appearance identification sign, all of them and their positions on the vehicle shall be given graphically.

4.1.4 Power system information

4.1.4.1 The location schematic diagram of key components such as battery packs, high-voltage cables, motors, etc. of electric vehicles in the form of side perspective view and top perspective view, and distinguish them by different colors. Other information, if included in the vehicle model perspective view, shall be marked and explained.

4.1.4.2 In addition to those specified in 4.1.4.1, information such as fuel type and fuel tank capacity shall also be provided for hybrid electric vehicles. Information involving any location shall be given by the vehicle side perspective view and top perspective view.

4.1.4.3 In addition to those specified in 4.1.4.1, information on fuel cell systems, on-board hydrogen supply systems and possible leak locations shall also be provided for fuel cell electric vehicle. Information involving any location shall be given in the form of side perspective view and top perspective view of the vehicle model.

4.1.4.4 Information on the type, rated voltage and rated capacity of the power battery cell, the number, size, voltage, capacity and weight of the battery pack, and rated voltage and rated capacity of the battery system, etc. shall be provided for electric vehicles.

4.1.5 Emergency device information

As for all the emergency devices and escape devices in electric vehicles products, the names, functions, locations and application method shall be described, their locations shall be described in the form of top perspective view and side perspective view of the vehicle model, and their shapes shall be described in the form of physical pictures.

4.2 Safety mark information

All safety marks on vehicles related to emergency rescue shall be given with explanations.

4.3 Emergency rescue disposal procedure information

Emergency rescue disposal procedures for electric vehicles products shall include but not limited to the following information:

a) Relevant information such as types of protective equipment required for emergency rescue personnel and minimum requirements for their protective performance;

b) The operating mode to ensure that the vehicle stops moving, which shall be described by diagrams;

c) Procedures to cut off high-voltage power, and all components and operating methods used for cutting off high-voltage power, with their shapes, positions and operation steps shown by diagrams;

d) The equipment and methods required for oxygen leakage and hydrogen flame detection for the fuel cell electric vehicles;

e) Parts that is difficult to or cannot be cut, expanded or punctured by emergency rescue personnel, which shall be described with diagrams;

f) Emergency disposal methods and precautions for waterlogged and burning vehicles, and emergency evacuation methods and precautions for passengers;

g) Methods and precautions for vehicle evacuation and temporary parking after accidents.
