《GB/T 38367-2019机械安全 点燃危险的风险评估》由TC208(全国机械安全标准化技术委员会)归口,主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
As a Class B general safety standard, this standard has established a complete ignition hazard risk assessment framework:
| Assessment phase | Main content | Technical points |
|---|---|---|
| Hazard identification | Analysis of 13 types of possible ignition sources | Including hot surfaces, mechanical sparks, etc. as specified in GB25285.1-2010 |
| Risk estimation | Occurrence probability assessment | Distinguishing between three operating conditions: normal operation/expected failure/rare failure |
| Risk assessment | Verification of the effectiveness of protection measures | EPL classification system (Ga/Gb/Gc, etc.) |
Key technical requirements
Protection level classification system
The standard innovatively established a three-level EPL (equipment protection level) system:
- Class I equipment: Equipment for coal mines is divided into two levels: Ma/Mb
- Class II equipment: Equipment for gas environments is divided into three levels: Ga/Gb/Gc
- Class III equipment: Equipment for dust environments is divided into three levels: Da/Db/Dc
Typical case: Chemical pump sealing system needs to reach EPL Gb level requirements, that is, the explosion-proof performance can still be maintained in the event of expected failures.
Implementation suggestions
- Establish an ignition source list: record 13 types of potential ignition sources according to the template in Appendix B
- Use the FMEA method to analyze the impact of failure modes on ignition risks
- Regularly verify the temperature group compliance of explosion-proof equipment
Standard evolution analysis
This standard maintains technical coordination with the ISO 80079 series. The main innovations include:
- For the first time, the judgment criteria for rare failures are clarified (two independent expected failures occur at the same time)
- The risk assessment differences between mechanical equipment and electrical equipment are refined
- The flame retardant type requirements for non-electrical equipment are increased
