Key technical requirements
1. Structural safety design
Standard 5.1.2 clearly requires that gas burning appliances must have: anti-leakage structure (such as gas pipes avoiding high temperature areas), anti-misoperation structure (rated heat load cannot be adjusted) and maintenance-friendly design (removable parts ≥15mm connection length).
2. Material specification evolution
Compared with the 2010 version of the standard, the new version adds in clause 6.2.1: condensing burners heat exchangers must be made of corrosion-resistant alloys or surface treated, and a specific material list is given (Appendix C). Typical application case: Stainless steel SUS304 is used for burner caps.

• Focus on testing the double valve series structure of the gas passage (5.2.9)
• Embedded stoves must follow the ±3mm tolerance control of the hole size in Appendix B
Testing agencies
• Add a 15° tilt stability test (5.7.1.b)
• Verify that the socket depth of the exhaust pipe is ≥30mm (5.4.5)
Background of standard formulation
This standard integrates the practical experience of 21 companies and institutions, and upgrades the technology for the popularization of condensing technology (newly added Chapter 5.6) and the development of the integrated stove market (Appendix B size serialization), eliminating backward processes such as aluminum bellows.
