Introduction

Analysis of the core content of the standard

Method Specimen size Impact energy Low temperature holding time Applicable scenarios
Method A 60×20mm 2500g/50mm 5min Thin materials
Method B φ130mm 800g/150mm 60min Composite leather with base material
Method C 200×200mm Steel ball free fall 22h/2h Finished product test

Key technical points

Specimen preparation specifications

State conditioning needs to be carried out at (23±2)℃, (50±10)%RH for ≥24h to ensure that the sample reaches humidity equilibrium before testing. Method B requires the use of polyurethane sponge (density 30±2kg/m³) as a buffer layer.

Key parameters of the equipment

  • Low temperature tank: constant temperature accuracy of ±1℃, minimum -30℃
  • Impact head: Method B adopts SR5.0±0.5mm hemispherical structure
  • Specimen fixture: Method C requires a combination of wooden pad + polyurethane foam pad

Implementation suggestions

Method selection guide

  1. Method B is recommended for automotive interior parts to simulate the stress of composite structures in actual use
  2. Method A is preferred for ultra-thin synthetic leather (<0.8mm)
  3. Method C condition 2 is applicable to the inspection of large parts such as finished seats

Solutions to common problems

Abnormal phenomenon Possible cause Solution
Irregular fracture of the sample Insufficient state adjustment Extend the adjustment time to 48h
Temperature fluctuation of low temperature tank Insufficient refrigerant Regular calibration + adding refrigerant
Compression deformation of sponge Density does not meet the standard Replace with standard polyurethane sponge
